During the days in Lai Chau, the delegation went to survey tourist attractions such as Pusamcap cave (Lai Chau town); Vang Pheo Cultural Tourism (Muong So Commune - Phong Tho); Na Luong village (Na Tam commune - Tam Duong)…
Mr. Nguyen Van Thang - a consultant of SNV said: “In this survey, we were very impressed with the destinations in Lai Chau. It can be said that the Pusamcap cave is one of the most beautiful caves in the Northwest region because of its pristine and grandeur. The survey team was also very impressed when they arrived in Na Luong village of the Lao ethnic group. The unique culture, simplicity, as well as the landscape in the village, is a difference, a highlight on the whole route." According to the initial assessment, the survey team commented that Lai Chau is the destination with the most thoughtful logistical preparation and Na Luong village is the most attractive community tourism village.
The survey trip within the framework of tourism development cooperation in 8 Northwestern provinces expanded in 2011 was carried out from August 26, starting from Hoa Binh province and ending on September 9, after the seminar. “Evaluating the feasibility of the Northwest arc tourism route” in Phu Tho province. The survey results will serve as a basis for making a dossier to submit to the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism for recognition of regional tourist routes; strengthen cooperation between the state management of tourism and tourism - service businesses, to turn the region into an attractive destination for domestic and foreign tourists; create opportunities to promote tourism products for 8 expanded Northwest provinces.
